I have believed in the N-Step family since its beginning and as the new owner of N-Step Dance Center, I plan to work hard and give 150% to make a warm & caring environment while fostering your child’s love of dance.  I have been married for 24 years, have four children and been caring for the elderly for nearly three decades.  I love our dancers and watching them perform is my greatest joy.

Miss Ashley has been dancing since the age of 3 and has been sharing her love of dance for the past eight years. Ashley grew up dancing under the direction of Jennifer Rienert at New Hampshire School of Ballet. In 2012 she graduated from Dean College with a degree in Dance. During her time at Dean College she had the privilege of training under Jill Silverman, Bryan Steele, Gregory King, Kelly Peters, and Laura young. She was also a part of Dean Colleges prestigious Pointe and Modern Companies. While attending Dean College Ashley studied Dance History, Rhythmic Analysis, Dance Composition, Dance Anatomy, Creative Movement & Pedagogy. Ashley has performed many lead roles in her dance career such as Dew Drop Fairy in the Nutcracker. In 2014 Miss Ashley graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with her Bachelor Degree in Psychology.  

This is Miss Ashley's sixth year at N-Step and enjoys teaching Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Musical Theater, Lyrical, and Contemporary. She has choreographed numerous competition pieces that have won choreography awards and high score overalls. When Miss Ashley is not in the studio she enjoys continuing her education at the DanceLife Retreat Center. Over the past eight years she has taught all over New England and loves spreading the love of dance. She and her boyfriend Greg live in Manchester with their fur baby Nike. 

Marie Bucklin​ began dancing at the age of seven at North Shore Dance Academy in Peabody, MA. During her 10 years with NSDA, she trained in ballet, jazz, tap, pointe, lyrical and contemporary, and competed at several dance conventions and competitions. Marie attended Assumption College in Worcester, MA where she was on the dance team and became captain her senior year. She also worked for the National Dance Alliance for three summer seasons and traveled around the country to teach at their high school dance camps. After graduating from Assumption, Marie attended Boston University for her master's degree. During this time, she joined Boston-based dance company, DanceWorks Boston, and has choreographed a variety of pieces for their bi-annual shows over the past 5 years in styles including lyrical, contemporary, jazz and pom, performing in numerous routines. She was also a member of Boston hip-hop crew, Unyted Stylz.


Marie works as the Associate Social Media Manager for Lindt Chocolate USA and lives in Londonderry with her husband Sean, and their cat Sophie.  This will also be her second year as Head Coach of the Southern New Hampshire University Dance Team.  You can find Marie at N-STEP on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays teaching Jazz, Hip Hop, Strength & Conditioning and choreographing pieces for our Dance Company.

Miss Danielle started dancing at the age of 10 at N-STEP Dance Center! She fell in love with the art instantly and knew she wanted to pursue a career in dance. Growing up she trained in a variety of styles including tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, lyrical, hip-hop, contemporary and musical theater. At the age of 13 Danielle became an assistant teacher at her studio, by 17 she was teaching her own classes and competition dances. As a competitive dancer she received many high score placements, special awards and scholarships. She attended many workshops through out her training including NYCDA, Turn It Up, Shock, A.S.H and The Radio City Rockette Experience at the Radio City Music Hall in NYC.

Beginning her teacher career in 2009, she has worked with all ages, styles and levels, receiving special awards, high scores and acknowledgment for choreography. Throughout her career as a teacher Danielle has continued her education by attending various teacher training events at the Dance Life Retreat center run by Rhee Gold in Norton, Ma. Here she has taken classes from many well known teachers such as Rennie Gold, Tricia Gomez, Kathy Kozul, Eileen Juric and more. Danielle is certified through a program created by Tricia Gomez called Integrative Rhythm Works in which hip-hop is used as a form of therapy to help students with special needs and disabilities.

Miss Danielle's love for the art certainly shines through her students and she looks forward to a future of educating students in technique while instilling a passion for dance. We are thrilled to welcome Miss Danielle back "home" to N-STEP and are excited to see what she has in store for our littlest dancers!

Emma Katherine started dancing at the age of two under the direction of Lisa Drouin Goff of Turning Pointe Center of Dance (TPCD) in Pembroke, NH. While having a focus on ballet technique Emma Katherine trained in styles including jazz, tap, lyrical, hip hop, African, ballroom, musical theater, and many more! Her passion for teaching started with a two apprenticeship with TPCD where she was able to fine tune her skills as a teacher. She has performed in places like Disney World, Universal studios, NYC, Chicago, and Boston. She has taken direction from some of the best including Julia Boyton, E-knock Phillips, and Adrienne Hawkins. 

If she’s not teaching she’s working on different ways to involve herself in her community. Producing benefits, fundraising for organizations, or simply walking with a group in a supportive 5k, Miss Emma loves to be involved!

Kristen Russell has been building young dancers for over thirty years, instilling in her students a love of dance and proper technique. She received her training at the Boston Ballet School, including their highly competitive summer dance programs. There she studied with prestigious faculty including Sydelle Gomberg, Bruce Marks, Anna-Marie Holmes, Laura Young, Clyde Nantais, Sydney Leonard and Kristin Beckwith, to name a few. She studied additionally, with Roseanne Ridings and Adrienne Hawkins. Kristen trained and performed extensively with Donna Miceli, as a member of the Youth Dance Company and Dance Ensemble, and assisted with master classes for Dance Teachers Club of Maine. She was a valued member of Ms. Miceli’s teaching staff for over twenty years where as a senior faculty member, she was responsible for teacher training.


Kristen has enjoyed choreographing for high school and musical theatre company productions, as well as directing musical theatre camp productions. She has cross-trained local gymnasts and skaters and has integrated dance in the curriculum of daycare and preschool programs. She is proud that many of her students have become professional dancers, teachers and studio owners, themselves. She has taught Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Lyrical and Musical Theater at dance schools throughout New England. Miss Kristen believes that the educational process in the classroom is equally important as the finished product we enjoy on the stage.
