  MISS JACKIE - Owner/Executive Director

Miss Jackie & her husband Jonathan have been the owners of N-STEP since 2010.  Miss Jackie is trained in classical ballet, jazz & tap, & has been dancing since she was 2 ½ years old.  Miss Jackie continued her study of dance as a dancer and dance instructor in New Hampshire, while she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business from St. Anselm College.

In addition to dancing, Miss Jackie is an extremely talented cheerleading coach and choreographer.  With an extreme passion for youth, and a focus on making sure young people have plenty of extracurricular options to guide them into lives of athleticism and prosperity, Miss Jackie began working with a Manchester youth cheerleading organization.  Under her direction, the organization achieved numerous titles on the state, regional, and national level.  Miss Jackie has held a certification as a cheerleading competition judge.  She was pivotal in the inception of the Southern New Hampshire Beavers Semi Pro Football & Cheerleading Team serving as General Manager, bringing semiprofessional football and cheerleading talent and excitement to Southern New Hampshire.

When she isn’t wearing her tap shoes, you will most likely find her helping others create their "happy ever after" working as a Certified Diamontologist & Jewelry Specialist Manager at Jared the Galleria of Jewelry in Manchester!  Miss Jackie's family is comprised of her husband Jonathan and children Stephanie and Caleb, both N-Step Dance Center Competition Team National award winners.  She also enjoys snuggles from her 3 dogs!

  MISS ASHLEY - Assistant Director

Miss Ashley has been dancing since the age of 3 and has been sharing her love of dance for the past eight years. Ashley grew up dancing under the direction of Jennifer Rienert at New Hampshire School of Ballet. In 2012 she graduated from Dean College with a degree in Dance. During her time at Dean College she had the privilege of training under Jill Silverman, Bryan Steele, Gregory King, Kelly Peters, and Laura young. She was also a part of Dean Colleges prestigious Pointe and Modern Companies. While attending Dean College Ashley studied Dance History, Rhythmic Analysis, Dance Composition, Dance Anatomy, Creative Movement & Pedagogy. Ashley has performed many lead roles in her dance career such as Dew Drop Fairy in the Nutcracker. In 2014 Miss Ashley graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with her Bachelor Degree in Psychology.  

This is Miss Ashley's sixth year at N-Step and enjoys teaching Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Musical Theater, Lyrical, and Contemporary. She has choreographed numerous competition pieces that have won choreography awards and high score overalls. When Miss Ashley is not in the studio she enjoys continuing her education at the DanceLife Retreat Center. Over the past eight years she has taught all over New England and loves spreading the love of dance. She and her boyfriend Greg live in Manchester with their fur baby Nike. 


Miss Alycia has been dancing since the age of three & is trained in classical ballet, pointe, tap, musical theater, jazz, modern, contemporary & lyrical. During her dance career, she has had the opportunity to study under the direction of: Patricia Lavoie, Douglas Davis, Shaina Schwartz, Marina van Winkle, David Sun, Rhee Gold, Laura Hall, Amy Fortier, & Tatiana Tchernova from the National Ballet of Canada. Alycia was a member of the N-Step Competition Team and had the opportunity to perform in several high award winning routines. 

Throughout her training in classical ballet, Alycia has performed in several pre-professional local companies & productions, many with solo, duo, & corps positions, at several locations in New Hampshire including the Palace Theater & Prescott Park in Portsmouth. Alycia has enjoyed performing roles in the Nutcracker, Fairy Houses the Ballet, Don Quixote, Coppelia, Giselle, the Nightingale, & numerous company pieces & productions.  Currently, Alycia is a member of the tap company Touché Taps where she has the opportunity to train and perform in the Greater Boston area under the direction of Shaina Schwartz.  As a company member, she has also studied under Sean Fielder, the artistic director of Boston Tap Company.

Marie Bucklin​ began dancing at the age of seven at North Shore Dance Academy in Peabody, MA. During her 10 years with NSDA, she trained in ballet, jazz, tap, pointe, lyrical and contemporary, and competed at several dance conventions and competitions. Marie attended Assumption College in Worcester, MA where she was on the dance team and became captain her senior year. She also worked for the National Dance Alliance for three summer seasons and traveled around the country to teach at their high school dance camps. After graduating from Assumption, Marie attended Boston University for her master's degree. During this time, she joined Boston-based dance company, DanceWorks Boston, and has choreographed a variety of pieces for their bi-annual shows over the past 5 years in styles including lyrical, contemporary, jazz and pom, performing in numerous routines. She was also a member of Boston hip-hop crew, Unyted Stylz.


Marie works as the Associate Social Media Manager for Lindt Chocolate USA and lives in Londonderry with her husband Sean, and their cat Sophie.  This will also be her second year as Head Coach of the Southern New Hampshire University Dance Team.  You can find Marie at N-STEP on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays teaching Jazz, Hip Hop, Strength & Conditioning and choreographing pieces for our Dance Company.

Miss Danielle started dancing at the age of 10 at N-STEP Dance Center! She fell in love with the art instantly and knew she wanted to pursue a career in dance. Growing up she trained in a variety of styles including tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, lyrical, hip-hop, contemporary and musical theater. At the age of 13 Danielle became an assistant teacher at her studio, by 17 she was teaching her own classes and competition dances. As a competitive dancer she received many high score placements, special awards and scholarships. She attended many workshops through out her training including NYCDA, Turn It Up, Shock, A.S.H and The Radio City Rockette Experience at the Radio City Music Hall in NYC.

Beginning her teacher career in 2009, she has worked with all ages, styles and levels, receiving special awards, high scores and acknowledgment for choreography. Throughout her career as a teacher Danielle has continued her education by attending various teacher training events at the Dance Life Retreat center run by Rhee Gold in Norton, Ma. Here she has taken classes from many well known teachers such as Rennie Gold, Tricia Gomez, Kathy Kozul, Eileen Juric and more. Danielle is certified through a program created by Tricia Gomez called Integrative Rhythm Works in which hip-hop is used as a form of therapy to help students with special needs and disabilities.

Miss Danielle's love for the art certainly shines through her students and she looks forward to a future of educating students in technique while instilling a passion for dance. We are thrilled to welcome Miss Danielle back "home" to N-STEP and are excited to see what she has in store for our littlest dancers!

Miss Kate began her training under Jennifer Rienert at NH School of Ballet. She attended summer programs including American Ballet Theatre in NYC, American Academy of Ballet and Hubbard Street. She furthered her ballet education at University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where she studied under Ethan Stiefel, Susan Jaffe, Fanchon Cordell, Susan McCullough, Jared Redick and many others. Kate had the privilege to work with Twyla Tharpe, Amanda McKerrow and John Gardner, Anna-Marie Holmes, Kevin MacKenzie, Violette Verdy and several other world renowned dancers and choreographers. She graduated with a BFA in dance with a concentration in Ballet. From there, Kate was hired with Ballet Theatre of Maryland in 2014 where she not only danced professionally but also became the Artistic Director’s executive assistant and company office manager.

Currently, she is pursuing her MBA with SNHU while teaching in New Hampshire.  Miss Kate LOVES Ballet and can't wait to share her passion with all of her students!
